Sports Psychology is a relatively new sub-field of Psychology. This course explores the area and provides insight into how psychological factors, such as anxiety, motivation, concentration and confidence can affect performance in sports.

We are delighted to introduce our up-to-date range of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses, orientated to the needs of business executives, professionals and interested individuals that are inspired by a variety of fields. The short programmes, detailed in this brochure, are specifically designed to meet the needs of those with a professional interest in these subject areas. They will also provide a valuable introduction for the student who is considering making a longer-term commitment to degree-level training in any of the disciplines covered. Course Fee Part-time:
Course Duration 12 weeks. Every Wednesday 6.30pm - 9.30pm. Finishes 2nd May 2012 (No classes during Easter Break 11th April).
Entry Requirements Requirements

This course is aimed at professional or voluntary coaches or those with a real interest in coaching. Participants will develop an array of mental training techniques that have been used successfully by both sports men and women and coaches.
